Only stayed 1 night but like all times that i.have stayed over the past 10 yrs, i found it very friendly and everything was there if you wanted it.recommend it very highly

Positives: Great location, excellent value, friendly check-in, room was very clean. Negatives: Beds need to be replaced. I understand you are not paying alot but the spring mattress was extremely uncomfortable and very noisy.

My first time staying in a hostel, we had to as our hotel canceled on us 🙄. The staff was friendly and helpful it’s good overall there was just one thing I didn’t like which was the disabled toilet it was out of order but the door was opened and people where still using it, it was absolutely discusting.

I can hear every noise from our floor so i didnt sleep really well. All the noise slamming or even just opening and closing the door and people chatting made me get to wake up so many times. And the cracking sound of the bed was so bad. It was really the most annoying experience ive ever had. But except the room facility, other facility were good. However i think the most important and what you focused on is the room not like kitchen and everything.

Bed far to soft and old springs very creaky. Long walk from station not well sign posted. Otherwise great kitchen dining space and pool area clean room with great view

The noise of doors constantly closing is a big issue. I've stayed there a lot but I am rethinking because every time someone opens a door it bangs very loudly when it closes.

Turned up in the evening to find the premium room booked had not been cleaned, so was put in a temporary room with the world's squekiest bed. Second night moved into actual room, which was pleasant, but like the whole hostel... excessively noisy. Facilities are in need of maintenance... for example only one tiny microwave working for the entire complex, so best not be in a rush for dinner. Seriously, with a little careful management and maintenance this place could be awesome... just needs work

We review these ratings daily, and publish any comments whether they are good or bad. However, there are a few instances where we will not publish comments online:

INAPPROPRIATE OR OFFENSIVE COMMENTS

We will not publish inappropriate and/or offensive comments.

Inappropriate or offensive comments include, but are not limited to, personal harassment or discrediting of YHA staff, hate speech, sexually explicit language, swearing or references to illicit drug usage.

UNSUBSTANTIATED OR INCORRECT CLAIMS

We will not publish any comments that are not directly related to the hostel, or your experience during your stay.

Hostels will have the right to have negative comments removed if they can prove that claims are unsubstantiated, incorrect or you did not stay at the hostel that you are commenting on.

COMMENTS INCLUDING STAFF NAMES

We will not publish comments that include full staff names, irrespective of whether your comment is positive or negative.

First names of staff will be published in positive comments only.

If there have been any major changes such as major hostel renovations, new management/owners, and we believe the previous ratings are no longer relevant, YHA will remove all submissions and the rating calculations will commence from zero.
